About Judy

Hi. My Name is Judy, and I Paint Feelings.

I don’t think art is just something you look at. I’ve always felt it’s something more. It’s more like… a container. A safe place to put a feeling, or a memory, or a question that you can’t quite find the words for.

The world can feel loud. And overwhelming. I know that feeling really well. For as long as I can remember, drawing and painting has been my way of making sense of it all. It’s my way of taking the chaos and the quiet, the happy and the sad, and giving it a home.

I didn’t go to a fancy art school. I learned on my own, with hand-me-down books and “YouTube university,” and by just… doing it. I had to. I was a poor kid, and for a little while, I lived in a car. My form of entertainment, my way of processing everything, was drawing and sketching. It became my language. It still is.

So, when you look at my work, you’re looking at my language.

You’ll find surreal, dream-like worlds, because sometimes my mind feels like that. You’ll see human figures, often holding themselves, trying to find comfort. You’ll see symbolic pieces, like a heart or a sunflower, that are trying to capture the feeling of being many things at once.

It’s all an exploration of the quiet, complicated space between being okay and not being okay.

Working With Me is Just a Conversation

I know the idea of commissioning art can feel intimidating. But really, it’s just a conversation. My process is built on connection and empathy, because the only way to create something meaningful is to understand the story behind it.

  • If you’re looking for art for your home… My hope is that we can find a feeling or a memory that’s important to you and your family, and turn it into a beautiful centerpiece that makes your space feel completely, uniquely yours.

  • If you’re a designer or a business… I see our work as a partnership. You have the vision for a space, and I can help you find its soul. Together, we can create a signature piece that tells your brand’s story or creates an unforgettable experience for your clients and guests.

It’s never about me just painting for you; it’s about us finding the feeling together.

Maybe art really is just something to find, everywhere you go. If you feel like you’ve found something here that speaks to you, I would genuinely love to hear from you.

Thank you so much for stopping by,

Judy
